The artwork is inspired by an ink drawing by Victor Hugo, The Vision of Notre Dame.
The visual content is related to Romanticism, appealing to shadows, ghosts, darkness and gloom. The combination of black and white, resulting in grey, synthesizes the achromatism of the animation. There is some light, but darkness predominates.
Through the narrative of the video, we can think that there is another world, an accidental world, a liminal, immaterial world, full of ghosts, which demands from the viewer a certain complicity and evasion of everyday life.
A tree that leads us to the sky, the sound of Carlos Blanco is disturbing. Vaporous explosions and poorly defined human figures show us an incomprehensible reality, close to danger and death.
