A secret from the past, the present or the future opens up a spectrum of unexpected connections, affiliations and poetic alliances. The habits of the dolls, representatives of the real double, emulate human behavior. The relationship of these toys with their environment makes personal visions explicit, and it introduces aspects of everyday intimacy.
The allusion to secrecy invokes a multiplicity of familiar and dystopian meanings. Through these works, Claudia Melo constructs her own secret by manipulating the artificiality of the world.
